Kangas by the beach : )

Sunshineshelle said...: Thanks Deborah & Stacy LOL, she was just standing there, earlier on we had taken pics of some others while we were picnicking on the beach, the shot is a bit shady, but there was a joey in the the mum's pouch, they are beautiful animals : )...

A Brief History...

Hello! Thanks for calling in, I'm living in Queensland Australia on the Sunshine Coast... co-running 3 businesses with my 'Big F' (hubby) which take up 8 days of the week, trying to do 'my thing' too, 'my thing' is, well something no one except a small (teeny tiny) group of my favourite people care about, it's my art, it is what I love... art (not necessarily mine, art, a brush, a piece of charcoal, a blank surface where the impossible can become real, where visions are birthed and alternate realities flourish... woo, way to heavy right(?) ok, so I have a wicked sense of humour, a non-politically correct view of life, I always tell the truth (to my detriment) love my family to bits, have a totally cluttered mind, and always try to do the right thing... yeah, as mentioned I LOVE a blank sheet of paper... it is a springboard into the non-structured, non-pixelated, non-joy-sucking dimension of my world.

I have a a hubby who is a writer, surfer, graphic artist & although my soul mate also drives me crazy (wasn't a long drive :) He sculpts, actually more like puts soul into the driftwood he discovers while beachcombing... he also built me a studio out of driftwood & reclaimed objects, a little oasis nestled in bush.

I have 2 daughters Memphis & Trinity, they are everything that is wonderful, unique, quirky, Yin & Yang, blonde & brunette, and both share a creative streak, Memphis studying Archeology & Art History at Uni, Laura Croft & Indy Jones would be impressed and want her as a sidekick totally, LOVES manga & anime... she is creating an 'epic' novel/manga/game as well in her spare time, you can go say hi & check out what she's up to... Trinity has talent to burn & the best eye for design & film but her heart lies elsewhere, so dreams have evolved from professional photographer (before that it was a professional wrestler) & I am so proud of her, studying & loving the new challenges ;) Milo our dog just is happy with hugs, pats & an occasional treat, he now has step-sisters Bella & Gabby, Trinity's rescue cats (both adorable)... that's about it...
