Welcome to OZ (with a little twist)

Hello & happy to see you followed the yellow brick road all the way to this little OZ offering ;) I am in Sydney away from my trusty Mac at the moment but through some magic this post hopefully will still appear (just like Dorothy back in her bed in Kansas) on March 19 :) so I won't miss out on this super cool Oz blogfest...
OK... Here's the deal my little precious (wrong movie reference, whoops) Below are my Oz aceo collections, leave a comment, any comment & if you win I'll let you have first choice, then second, then so on... It's all random & alI magical... I was going to post these in my Etsy shop, but I'm going to be like the good witch & share with my blog friends, totally randomly... technically if only 5 enter, well you do the math ;)
So... I always found that film a little scary to tell the truth, a shiny man without a heart may be a little evil, that dude without any brains, made me hide behind the lounge, a loin with no courage, well that was no more than a giant pussy, Dorothy, well I loved her because she had a barking running hairball and sometimes I wore my hair in braids too, and that witch, well, frankly, I quite liked her too, she looked like she was a wild girl having a bit of fun, and perhaps a bit misunderstood, wrong finishing school?
Hope you enjoy your visit & don't forget to leave a comment, winners anounced March 22nd!

Hey Shelle ;o) You were scared of the Wizard of Oz movie! I can understand that! I actually was scared of the Flying Monkeys! You have to admit, the movie did keep you going and you were never bored! You know I love your art, so I love all your aceo's! But, if I had to pick a favourite, it would be the lion ;o) He needs a hug ;o) P.S. I hope you're having fun with mom ;o)

You're cracking me up! I didn't like the Flying Monkeys, scary creatures those. All of your cards are great, as usual!

Hi, having a wonderful time at the party. To tell the truth I was a bit scared the first time I saw this movie, what horrible little creatures those monkeys were.

Howdy Shelle! I hope you're having a good weekend. The scarecrow is my favourite for some reason - maybe it's the goofy eyes!

Your Oz characters are fandamtastic. I love them. And as for your critique of the movie.....I have a feeling there are many that had similar thoughts. All fairytales seem to have a "just wrong" tone to them, and WOZ is no exception.
I want to thank you for jumping right in there and sayind sure, I'll participate in something that had not been done before. Shows a bit of courage and good sense er trust I would say. You and the other participants have made my hope of a Celebrate OZ come true. So I do believe in fairy tale dreams and lovely people like you who made it come true.

Lovely Aceos - you are very talented! I am used to scary children's stories having been raised in Germany with the authentic scary and sometimes brutal fairy tales of my childhood. I guess you could call them "character building" stories of my youth! I loved the Wizard of Oz, but I've yet to read all the OZ novels, something I'm going to remedy in the very near future...We've been having very nice weather for sitting outside under a shade tree and getting lost in a book!

Happy Oz Celebration and have a wonderful weekend!

Oh come on, save yourself some trouble and just send me everything. No one will mind; I promise you (crosses fingers behind back).

Gods I love your work. I was showing it to my Piano Man and he is in love with your Star Wars interpretation. Me, I like them all, and have some extra love for the all the witchy things.

I hope you consider participating in my Witches in Fiction blog party. It would be an honor to show off your work again *wink, wink*

Thanks for the Oz blog. Your collection is neat. I agree with you about the reaction to WOZ movie as a child. It is such a classic now and I love to watch it.

Happy Oz Day! These are all just fabulous! :) Thanks for sharing. The Wizard of Oz was my favorite movie as a child - and now I am enamored of Wicked (the book by Maguire AND the musical). So, the obsession has lived on! Thanks for offering such a lovely giveaway. :) Theresa
