But first, just quickly, my youngest babe Trinity came home from school 'survival camp' today so instead of dragging backpack, sleeping bag & all on the school bus I picked her & her sister up from school... We had to make 2 stops for food on the way home from Noosa to Coolum (15 minute drive), no vegetarian option for dinner at camp so she was handed a capsicum (not impressed) she didn't realise survival camp meant you had to put up your own tent... she took so long she missed the only opportunity in 3 days to have a shower, also now has a sprained wrist, she said she did that while sleeping on rocks, apparently we were the only parents not to provide our child with a bed roll... they did say 'optional' oh yes did you know it's been the coldest recorded temperatures (ever) for June in Qld??? She took 4 pairs of shorts & singlet tops (she doesn't like jeans or long sleeves) I forced her to take a jumper & pair of her sisters jeans 'just in case'... Ab-sailing of a 75 ft cliff became a stand off between her & the camp councillor with him pushing & her firmly hanging onto the rockface... now, it's getting late & you probably just don't want to hear the story of the 'DROP DUNNY' OMG, she's so funny ;) OK, I gotta go now, she's a little tired & wants me to massage her feet... mmmm.... I think I'll eat first ;)
Now remember to check out Eva & Kristin's blogs who put this shindig together every week & the other talented artists who have joined this weeks fun, the whole gang is listed at this link..... PPF :) Today I have a new start on some bit's & pieces I'll work on for the tea party (if you want to join you are most welcome, I have a link in my side panel), something old (but sentimental) & an almost finished artwork that has progressed from my original roughs last week... not much, but it'll have to do, I have a cheese platter to demolish!!
Party On Dudes!!

Oh your poor darling baby, I hope you massaged her feet until she fell asleep. What a horrible camping experience, and to go hungry to; not cool.
The Mad Tea Party drawings are super cool though. And the cupids, oh my or oh my! What a story.
Hope you enjoyed the treats!

Gorgeous painting, enjoy the weekend. Happy PPF, Annette x
Your poor baby girl. That's a horrible experience to have had to endure....but will make for a great story when she gets older. Gotta find the silver albeit tarnished lining in all ugly things.
I love your "mad tea" paintings and we only have a week and a day to wait to play at the Tea Party.
Happy weekend and cuddle your little one back to happiness and be well and warm. The Olde Bagg

p.s. "Survival Camp" sounds a little scary to me... I think it really is a test of survival skills when someone is trying to push you off a cliff! Yikes!!!
Oh Shelle, your poor daughter! No vegetarian choices, sprained wrist and "pushed from a cliff?" When you said survival camp, you weren't kidding! Sweet love.
I love your cupids and of course your something new paintings. You are such a talented artist. Your sneak peeks are so intriguing I cannot wait for the Tea Party!
Just a quick note to tell you I left an award for you on my blog if you would like to pick it up. Have a wonderful week.
