A cuddle & a cup of tea...

Today I realised I had lost two from my rainbow of followers, just overnight... and I started thinking, did I say something wrong? (probably) Do I use the word 'crappola' too often (yes to that one too) Did they feel unloved :( You know, I'm thinking... I'll never be able to tickle everyone, I will fall short of expectations with some of my rays of sunshine... I can't even pronounce big words (although that has nothing to do with anything), but is is a little sad... So here's what we do, we all need to feel wanted & no one likes to be left out... so I've come up with this...
The solution :)
I would give you all a BIG GROUP HUG...
Come on, get in close, don't be shy, don't even THINK about not getting in real close... Closer... CLOSER!!!!
OK all 131 of us... come-on, you at the back too, get in the huddle, that's it... there's plenty of room...
1...(get ready),
2....(don't be shy)
3... Group CUDDLE!!!!!! CUUUUDDDD-DDLLLLE...
ahhhhhh....
savour that moment...

OK

I feel better, actually feel like doing a little happy dance, feeling the energy, the love, support, we may be scattered all over the world, but come on, you felt it right, nothing like a group hug to get the sweet vibe :) I feel loved, that was good :)

OK on with the post you cuddle monsters LOL :)

What's your poison? Cup of tea? mug of coffee? Bottle of wine?? Cask of Tequila???? (Better quit there, I was getting carried away) Whatever it is there is something about multi tasking with a drink in your hand (or perched within easy reach)... actually I have reached for my paint water (& turps) on a couple of absentminded occasions instead of my steaming cuppa (tea not flaming ouzo)...
Oh yeah, why am I sharing this? Inspiration Avenue are having a 'tea' inspired challenge, and I have just completed a few works that you may have seen the birth of a few weeks ago? (yep, I'm slow) I know some of you already take part in this weekly event, but for those who haven't discovered it yet, maybe pop on over have a peek and share in another great group tradition, a cup of tea with friends ;) I'll see you there!

Hugging right back! Oops, sorry, um... didn't mean to touch your butt. Too many hands, um... got confused, I meant to rub your back for comfort and stuff.

Don't sweat the ones who leave, maybe they are just taking a breather and be back soon, if not, it just wasn't meant to be. More hugs for meeeeee!

Oh, must email you soon. I GOTS some work you YA!

And, I LOVE all of your words! They are ginormous for me!

Shelle, I loved our group hug this morning!!! We all need a hug in our lives. I try to hug as many as I can each day, including a few of my favorite trees and critters:D
I'll bet it had nothing to do with you. You're so sweet, and kind Maybe personal issues at home was the culprit. Maybe they don't blog anymore.
Love your art...of course! Love my columbia coffee in the morning, and my tea during the day!

Hey Shelle ;o) I needed that hug, right before I left for my trip ;o) Thanks my bestest friend ;o) And, for those that have left, don't worry about it! People come and go. But, the people that truly love you, will always be there for you! And, that's what counts! I love the way you compose your words and I love your paintings!! Talk soon ;o)

I got a little squished cause I was so close to the middle, but I loved the group hug--just what I needed!

I am definitely a tea girl--occasionally a Cappuccino--and I'm not against a glass of wine with supper. I'll have to check out Inspiration Avenue--thanks!

Love the adorable paintings!

Hi there fellow Sunny Coaster... thanks for visiting me. I keep hearing from all those in the USA about the heat wave. Aren't we lucky... it's been gorgeous here. Love your 'tea' post.
Don't worry about 'dropouts'... sometimes people just follow you because they like the look of one post, but then decide that the bulk of your content simply isn't what they expected. Besides, it's impossible to keep up with your 'reading list' if you follow too many blogs. Am feeling like I need to drop a few myself, but am worried about hurting people's feeling.

Goodness....we are a cuddle up bunch huh? And that was an excellent squeeze. Thanks darling girl....we can all us those anytime.
Love your work...and as far as your words.....too bad so sad if someone doesn't hanker to it. It's your blog darling.
And as to the drink...make mine a double shot of tequila....the kind with the worm...

That was the BEST group hug ever!!! I feel so much better now.

I have coffee with my art...and have rinsed the brushes in the coffee more times than I am probably aware of, which probably accounts for why I cannot pronounce big words and need spell check more and more!

I really enjoy your art and ACEOs. I am thinking of making some...maybe...and checking out the links.

This is my first visit to your blog. Seems like everyone loses followers at one time or another. It just happens. Probably not your crappola comments.

And it would never have anything to do with your art. It is gorgeous, and I'm really loving what I see. Your little girls drinking tea are so perfect for the challenge. Glad you joined the IA challenge this week. Now I will be inspired to return here.

I've done that thing with the painting water and my drink sooo many times (usually t'other way round though - dipping my brush in my coffee!)
