Started with a doodle on card & ended up with, well, this... Face 5... Not thrilled about this baby but there ya go ;) looks like a shiftworker just in from pulling an all-nighter, MangaMem & I were both running late although she has 6 Faces up now & looks like I can't get to No 6 for another 23 hours... mmm & a day volunteering at school canteen tomorrow... guess what I'd rather be doing than sink duty, & making sushi & sandwiches? Thanks for coming by & I'll be 'round soon as, to see what you're up to too!

Those progressions shots are fantastic! And I love her expression -- I see a lot of compassion in her eyes :-)
I love how you've framed this face at such a cool angle- it really emphasizes her wonderful eyes and expression!
Shelle, you have a way with eyes--always so full of expression and the deepest colors!
Hm, I think she might be projecting your not wanting to be on sink duty, but she is beautiful in her expressions. And those eyes cut through a person.
But I love the realifedness of this face :D XXX
Well, I really like it! It's cool to see the progression, too.
Awesome! Love this face.
I like faces with character and this one has tons! good for you for joining in this portrait challenge. No way could I do it, just don't have the time, and I'd be mad at myself if I commited and failed. Ah well, I can enjoy seeing the creations you and several other artists are producing daily
There's a lot of hope in that expression, too. Pretty eyes and mouth.
Shelle, I know you say you are not thrilled about this face, but to me, she has a lot of emotion! She has been through a lot! I say, you did a great job ;o) Have fun volunteering at the school! Big Hugs ;o)
I like seeing the progression. Wonderful face.
A great face full of so many expressions, love the eyes
I like it! Especially her cool green eyes!!! Beautiful!
I love them all!!! My favorite is the Mermaid, maybe because I'm a Pisces girl! Great work, I really like that you're doing something different each time!
Looks great!!! Keep up the great work!! Funny how things turn out sometimes, for the best in this case!!! :)
What's not to like? And it is fanta-bulous that you have all the mini steps there!
I think she is amazing. Love the eyes.
So beautiful! The shading is stunning, and it's awesome seeing your steps toward the finished piece... so cool~

It's just gorgeous! Love seeing the WIP pics too.
Your faces are looking wonderful, and I love seeing your process here.
I love it, you really managed to make the face 3-dimensional. Also, I love the color of the lips, it brings life into the face.
Love her and all the rest of your faces!! I just joined in on the fun so I'm playing catch up.
:-)
I wish I had 1/100th of your talent. I love all of these faces as well as everything in your Etsy. I am now of to visit the lovely Miss Memphis to admire her inherited gifts. Have a wonderful rest of the week, sweetie!
Totally, totally awesome Shelle! I simply love the way you documented the progression of this face ... just wonderful!
