Day 12, 13, 14 - 29 Faces

Day 12 - Daisy

Day 13 - Viewer

Day 14 - Sinking

Had a bash with my pastels & forgot they were so much fun! I am indebted to you all for your comments & inspiration - 29 Faces - loving the total smorgasbord of visual delights & unrelenting hub of intense activity within this awesome group :)  So happy to be part of Ayala Art's Challenge... MangaMem (my daughter) & I are both in the Challenge & she let's me know when I drop behind (like DAILY) hence my 3 additions here - hope to catch you all in the next 24 hours for your latest creation - work has being playing havoc with my art time, mmm that reminds me... I should buy a lottery ticket ;)

Shelle these are all fabulous! Makes me want to try pastels, yours always look so great! Boy howdy I can relate to the work getting in the way of art thing. I finally asked Gordon to let me have one week of straight 40 hours cuz he informed us we might be going on mandatory overtime soon and I have already been doing it voluntarily for months now, UGH!!!We are playing the lottery at work now, think positive... I believe in fairies and winning the lottery... yahooooooooo!!!

I love the various angles that you use - it really shows that you have excellent knowledge of how the face is constructed. I also really love your colors - especially in #13!

I'm kind of predictable, so of course I'm in love with "Daisy." I like the lines "under the skin." The contrast of colors and expression on "Viewer" are quite striking, and I'm pretty sure "Sinking" wants me to write a story about her.

Wow!! You made a great job!

OMG! Shelle, I am just catching up with all of the utterly stunning faces you are created. I am awestruck at the beauty you create with simple art supplies.

So sorry for falling behind but I have not felt well and just doing more than the daily requirements can be very taxing. Please do not take my absence as lack a interest or affection, dear friend. Sending many hugs to you. Mina

Shelle, I love your "faces".

Just to let you know I've had a big problem with blogger/google! Because of their software problem, my blog came up as a spam blog, whatever that is, anyway my account, and blog were deleted by them. It took me forever to get the problem worked out. They apologized for their software error, reinstated my account, but my blog is gone...just like that! I have started a new one , but I don't have any postings yet...I am just getting it set up. If you would still like to follow me here is my url http://atouchofwitch.blogspot.com/
