Still Celebrating!!!

What's a girl to do(?) I may be running late for the party but Natasha May said just get in your costume, fix your makeup & arrive before Sunday Midnight and I'll save you some treats... one may even be an original Natasha May aceo, but in the least I'll score myself a gut-full of sugary goodness ;)

Well as I was getting dolled up for my 'late' arrival I thought I'd tell you about 'Glamis Castle' we recently visited in Scotland, I am happy it was daylight because it was pretty creepy, and it would be hard to find a better place to wander on Hallow's Eve...

This is the setting for Shakespeare's 'MacBeth', Royalty through the centuries have visited, princesses born, and bodies entombed in chambers that can never be opened, there is a sense of dread which emanates from these secret walled-in rooms, and although stories told, no one is certain of what lies behind the bricked in doorways & windows...

Some say the devil himself visited this Castle, but, I wonder if it was just King Henry the VIII (?) because we saw his short bed where he sleep when he holidayed here between wives centuries ago... The chapel in the bowels of Glamis Castle was eerie, I swear I felt the ghost of the beautiful Lady Campbell sweep by on her way to the back row where she finds solace after being burnt to death on witch charges by James V, her children imprisoned in the dungeons also sentenced to death, until the king died and the innocents were released.

There is also a ghost of a man in armor that has been documented by many visitors over the centuries & the small servant boy, who in afterlife is still on occasion seen sitting on a stone seat just inside the Queen Mother's (who's home it once was) private room, awaiting his next instruction. I feel Halloween may be quite active at Glamis Castle...
I want to share my aceo "Lady Campbell" of Glamis Castle, or as she is better known as she's seen drifting through the Castle grounds... "The White Lady"
Ahhh... OK, makeup on Now let's party... Well I had so much green makeup left over from St Paddy's Day I thought I wouldn't let it go to waste soo... my costume is... Zombie Bridesmaid (just to glam it up a little thought I'd add glitzy earrings)!!!!
OK, Now I'm off to party... but before I leave I have a $15 Etsy voucher for my SunshineShelle Shop for Mr Randomiser to pick someone from the comments section on my party blog (so please do) in (belated celebration of Halloween)... I'll announce next post & one more (well 2 announcements) Oma you won my 'Oz' giveaway from a century ago & Jenny won the aceo of her choice from the 3 I featured in last weeks blog, but actually if you prefer Jenny you can just pick any aceo in my shop instead :) Happy weekend everyone!

Well, if anyone could make Glamis Castle feel like a warm and cheery place, it would be the Queen Mum!
