I MADE A LINK MISTAKE!!!!!!!!

SORRY DUDES & DUDETTES, I PASTED THE WRONG LINK, THIS IS THE NEW LINK Below is LAST WEEKS PPF, please make out like I didn't make another link blunder & just ignore (below post) and go to THIS LINK

OMG if Eva & Kristen find out they may bar me from partying at PPF... so
SSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHH don't tell ;) Thx!!!

Don't read below unless you missed last week, or otherwise you will get an OVERWHELMING feeling of deja vu...

WHAT A WEEK! For anyone who didn't know I changed internet providers and I was CUT OFF from you my constantly amusing, creative, and inspiring souls for a big chunk of it & then had limited internet access at other times, what's that, you didn't even notice??? Too bad I'm back and I'm coming to stalk you all... Ahh such is the life of a lonely blogger/artist/nutcase...
OK Yes I got 2 paintings finished this week... BUT firstly I have to thank a close bestie for suggesting this to me, I had done a couple of series of imaginary friends, I always had one and used to make a space next to me on the lounge, the pew at church, the floor (minding my donut or lollies) from siblings... and, well, Stacy from MagicLoveCrow suggested I combine my 'imaginary friends' with Magaly's "Witches in Fiction" celebration, & although that's over, I was inspired by the thought... so let's call it a delayed reartion (is that a word?)  well, the paint is still wet but here goes...
Charmed & I "HEART" U....  HAPPY PAINT PARTY FRIDAY DUDES & DUDETTES :)
Oh & go check out the other creations on display & maybe join in the fun & throw your name on the list, for more info just press..... PPF :)

That's one awesome imaginary friend. :) Do kids still do that? I never had one so I'm thinking I missed out. Is it too late to have one at my age? :))

Sunshineshelle said...

Now, I have to let you know... it's never too late to have an imaginary friend, I don't see him often, but I know he's still around because it can't be me who finishes all the ice cream!!!

oh my, i love your imaginary friend - he is sooooo cute!! I want one! I love the whole picture - that is one angelic looking little witch! That would make such an amazing illustration for a children's story - you should write one to go with it!!

Anonymous said...

oh and btw - reartion - great word!! I may have to plagarise that!

Sunshineshelle said...

Ha ha thanks Ms Pointy Pix, you are more than welcome to plagarise with my blessing, if enough people use it we may be entered into the dictionary, now ain't that a way to have something published ;) I'm married to a sweetie writer, maybe I'll put it on his agenda, problem is he's also a surfer... have to do it when there's a cyclone on ;)

I just saw your comment on my blog - I love that you got married in jeans and doc martins! That's the way to do it!! I live in jeans so mine was the one day of glamour in my normally dog-hair and muddy pawprint covered life!! I laughed at the brainfreeze comment - that's hilarious!

Oh,imaginary friend!!!
I guess that's what artists need.
I always admire who has artistic mind.
I wish I was born with it.... haha,

Love Orchid

Gloria said...

Stacey had a good idea, love your reartion combo!

Magaly Guerrero said...

Reartion should be a word, for it describes the concept perfectly. I love this couple. There is something about the eyes of your creations that one day I might be particularly enlightened and find the best way to describe them. For now, WOW, she is enchanting. And her little guy is perfect--I love his smile ;-)

Craftymoose Crafts said...

I love your reartion! I never had an imaginary friend growing up--too busy climbing trees and going on adventures,I guess. There is so much expression in your work,Shelle, you are a really gifted artist!

Love these!!! They are so cute and cheery and bright~~and everyone I know has been having some sort of computer problems...it has been epic. (along with the normal Blogger quirks, it's enough to make you want to yank hair out!)
Welcome back to cyberspace, and hopefully the move was a good one for you!

XXOO~~

Hi Sunshine. Adorable and awesome colors. Thanks for letting me know my link wasn't working. I've re-linked it. Happy PPF!

I had two imaginary friends when I was a kid, and my mom would always sit on them. I love your paintings! The face on the witch is so cute with those big blue questioning eyes! I am glad you have the internet back. What a pain it can be. Happy PPF! :-)

Alexandra MacVean said...

Oh my gosh...way too cute! I LOVE the striped socks, too. Really nice work.

Tammie Lee said...

so very cute, both. I love that you are working with imaginary friends... funny that our culture calls them imaginary....to the person who has them they are real, it is to those around that they try to imagine them.

SHERI COOK said...

Interesting to see how the artist sees their imaginary friend. That would be a good theme one day. Draw what your imaginary friend looks like challenge! HAPPY PPF!

EVA said...

OMG! I love your "imaginary friend" and witch! Especially your little pal - how cute is he!! Also love the Moon in the background. Great creations!

Theresa said...

I love the witch! & imaginary friend. So whimsical! Happy PPF! Theresa

These paintings are so adorable and I totally agree they would make wonderful childrens picture books.
Am over the moon that you guessed my sketch was Matt Smith the new Dr Who, this has totally made my day, thank you. Happy PPF, Annette x

How great that you brought your imaginary friend to life! Happy PPF!

Pointy Pix... all true, and I won't tell you about dinner that night.... that's another story ;)
Orchid, you can do many things I can't, it's wonderful we are all so diverse and have our own special talents to share :)
New End Studio - sometimes others just suggest things we hadn't even had a hint of, wonderful asset having extra eyes LOL :)
Magaly, I think we've officially made it a word LOL, thanks for your comment, but believe me, you are enlightened... I like to think of eyes in my paintings as little soul orbs... I think words come when you least expect them - one day, one word will fit exactly, and I'm betting you will have conjured it up ;)
Debbie, climbing trees & other wonderful physical adventures may have been better for this chubby little kid, but because of my lack of physical abilities, I stayed close to my drawing pad LOL, the better I got at drawing, the more pencils, textas & paper I received, then I'd use that bounty to draw more, and so the saga continued LOL!
Anne thank you! Maybe that's it I used to have really thick hair... Do you think a class action on internet providers for thinning hair is in order LOL Yes by the way it seemed a little endemic all this crappola with blogs/comments/posts, me feels a gremlin is in the works?
Artistamyjo, ha ha, kid's are cunning, but then again, I think they may have been correct, imaginary friends are often very clumsy ;)

Sunshineshelle said...

La Abela gracias, he's funny & gaining confidence as he stands with his witchy friend;)
Diana, I always though there was another that lived under my bed, not so cute, if you went to the bathroom through the night he would try to grab your angles, I'd have to stand on the bed & take a giant leap (lucky he had short arms LOL
Gloria, you are most welcome, it would be a shame for people to miss your wonderful creation ;)

Kristin Dudish said...

Oh I absolutely adore your imaginary friend! He is my favorite color and I love his pudgy little belly :)
So, so great!

Hey Shelle, I sneaked away from my "guests"! LOL! I love your delayed reartion paintings ;o) You put so much love into all your art! It brings so much happiness to my heart ;o) Hugs ;o)

Heather said...

LOve the thought of adding an imaginery friend to your artwork! hee! excellent, especially a purple one, that's sooo cute

Sunshineshelle said...

Roban Studio, OMG, that's so funny, your mother sat on your friends LOL, love it :)
Sophia I see you like striped socks (me to) I have a pair of over the knee ones but only wear them around the house although I wear my 60's floral tights with a black skirt & boots out... maybe I should try the socks when I next go grocery shopping, although I gotta tell you I think they are much better on my little witch ;)
Tammie, so right I love your spin on that, maybe my purple dude is the real thing & his imaginary friend is the little witch?
Sheri C I think that is a BRILLIANT idea for a challenge, love to see them lined up by their creators & see everyones :)
Eva, I keep thinking I'll check out what the moon really looks like, where the craters are & all, but next minute I'm just whacking on that moon, hope no one checks, it's no more linked to reality than my purple friend ;)
Theresa, whimsy makes the world go round & fills our daydreams with smiles, thank you :)
Netty, WOOOO I KNEW IT, it just felt like it was him so you DID capture his essence, I'm so excited, I love the drawing, I saw that others guessed correctly too (yes I went back to check LOL) thanks for letting me know :))))
Phoenix, quirky I like thanks :)
Christine thanks for dropping by & pleased you enjoyed :)
WrightStuff, now THAT is intriguing!!! Love to know more, what's she look like (?) hopefully she's living very happily in your abode :)

Sunshineshelle said...

BahamaDawn pleased to be back online :) PPF was looking a bit dicey for a while :/
Her Speak thanks for dropping on by & hope you were talking about the colours not my wine intake ;)
Julie we are pretty lucky as artists, writers, dollmakers etc that we get to bring something to life even if it's only from the imagination to canvas, it rocks :)
Kristin, Thank You! I fashion the belly after what mine looks like after a big family dinner ;)
Stacy you always make me smile babe :) I mix a little love into all my paints and it bonds with the canvas so when the paint dries it's there for good :) Hope your visitors are behaving ;)
Heather, thanks, purple is good but they do change colour, sort of like a rainbow, and sort of like a rainbow you can't always see them... but they are there when conditions are right - childhood being one of them ;)

Terrie said...

Laurie thanks for coming by here too :) Guess what, I'm following you too, so nice to officially meet :)
Stephanie well thank you my dear :) I am so chuffed at your comment & I was so chuffed too that both paintings sold this morning in my Etsy shop (yes it made my day.... actually WEEK) I have 2 other little dudes awaiting finishing touches & I'll put them in my shop when finished, and hopefully they too will find loving new homes out in the world someday ;)
Happy PPF to all :)

This is adorable. I love the imaginary fried! My daughter Nelly had 2 imaginary friends "Batman and Robin" I had to set dinner plates for them. I just played along! And can you imagine I sat on one! She was alittle upset that day. This piece is so cute! Thanks for making me remember my cute little girl.

Crafty Moose we would have made good friends as kids!I had lots of adventures climbing trees too and lots of imaginary friends to do them with, mostly wild animal friends and people who lived in teepees! I agree with Tammie, its funny how our culture calls them "imaginary" when they are real to those who have them. But even Einstein said " Imagination is EVERYTHING!" It is the beginning of reality and why we artists ( which is really everyone!) are "creating" the world as we percieve it!!!!!!Yahooooo, bring on the adorable purple friends , we can all use them!Excellent work Shelle! Deb

PS I'm new to blogging and its good to see others were having the same computer problems. I almost gave up but I'm glad I didn't. This is a fun community!!!!!

My friend uses Hughsnet (don't recommend it) and she gets put in internet jail all the time cause she goes over on her band width. Reminded me of your sob story here ;)
